We do not need to dig deep to see the resentment many of the general public project against the financial establishment, but this is associated with a greater apathy to financial issues, let alone politics or economics or even greater issues like environmental preservation. During this current economic crisis one may ask a simple question, what will happen when the resentment becomes a demand for change and the apathy a great interest? The neo-conservatives, to which George Bush and many other westerners belong, believe in that power shall be reserved to the people that can handle it and the public tends to carry cyclic revolt. Interestingly, this leading elite, today signing deals and playing Golf with Great China, know and act according to their believes that “power will always be reserved and people will cyclically revolt”. This element is indeed entrenched in human genetics and nature so for it to appear as a self-evident phenomenon, but it is indeed not in the general public intellect (it is not part of the universal grammar of humanity), and therefore effective legislative restrictions were not warranted by the public. It is indeed a war of notions and discourses, not religions and cultures. Chavez and Bush are Christians in disagreement as much as Egypt and Hamas are in disagreement, but they are Muslims. The divide is not west and east, the divide is between people that think they can spend your money and hard work the way they see fit and us, the people they corrosively mandate. They believe they can take care of you better than yourself. They are the “communists and their friends”. They are many people in many great important positions of power. They appear on the media always clean because their friends own the mass media.
Yes, it will continue, men love to be free but they do tend not to mind to be controlled and they love free lunches. But there is no such a thing called a free lunch. Therefore, someone always can play the role of the neo-conservatives, which are self-evidently not new nor conservative!
They are "human nature" not mandated by the general public intellect. Unless we revolt, as we will, but in due course appearing closer as economical, demographical and geopolitical shifts take place. But are the controlling powers going to remain controlling as they are awaiting our unorganized revolt and preparing for it by effective networking?
